SUMMER
LEAGUE
Kicking off our 50th Season as we head into our next Summer season in 2026. Here we offer both recreational (Rec) and Competitive (Comp) leagues. Both leagues do offer a healthy amount of competition but instead are divided more by skill level. You can continue below to read about the two different leagues and decide which is right for you!
Comp or Rec, both leagues play Saturday Mornings during the late Spring and Summer in Milwaukee, WI.
SSBL welcomes folks of all identities (18+) to our league at any skill level! Our league is excited to be entering into it's 50th season, leaving its mark on in Milwaukee LGBTQIA+ history. We hope to see you out there this Summer.
Registration for Summer 2026 is not currently open, and we encourage you to check back in March 2026.
SSBL offers a recreational league for folks who play softball for fun. Yes, this means there is still a competition-- there is a winner of each game, and an end of season tournament. This league is geared toward our beginner level, and casual players. Rec. League is a place for players (18+) to learn the game and really get into or continue to play on a level that is more fun, comfortable and safe for them.
All skill levels & gender identities are encouraged to join!

LEAGUE
SSBL offers a competitive league for folks who have more experience and skill in softball. This league is geared toward our advanced and returning players who consider themselves more than just casual players. Comp. League is a place for players (18+) to face other players of their same skill level and push themselves to become better.
Comp. League is recommended for players who are rated in the upper D Division and greater.
All gender identities are encouraged to join!
